The best pet shop in DSM area(Ankeny. My daughters and I popped in for a visit and got way more than we bargained for. Our hosts Russ and Millie provided lovely experiences with the animals for my 1.5 and 5 yo girls. Super accommodating and well versed in pet knowledge I highly recommend for any who want to consider owning a pet to stop here first!

Great time. Stella was awesome. Staff came right up to us and brought a rabbit to us. Next a ferret. They were very accommodating and attentive! Will definitely be back!

This place rocks. Wood was a bit on the expensive side but the staff was incredibly helpful and they had WAY more stuff for bearded dragons than other stores around. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about the animals, with one of the associates talking to a lizard while she tended to its enclosure. Another was excited when a greens order came in for the reptiles. Let me tell you this is the best reptile store around I’ve found. I tried Aqualand in Des Moines and it does not come close to this place. Keep up the great work, my red monsters loved the Dubais!
